Chief Operating Officer of SRG Universe Inc. Griff Briggs spoke with Graham "GSM" Matthews all about Supershow the Game, Saturday's New South event, and much more. Currently, Griff is involved in growing the independent roster of Supershow as well as making partnerships with various wrestling promotions across the US. Supershow the Game is a fast-paced card and dice game based on professional wrestling. Players build 30-card decks and roll their dice every turn to try and play their own “Finish” card. When a Finish card is hit, the player rolls a finish roll and the opponent gets 3 breakout rolls (simulating the 1-2-3 count in wrestling) to match or beat the finish roll. Billed as the first unpredictable card game or UCG, games can last anywhere from 5 to 45m with the winner always just one roll away. Supershow the Game is played across the US and Canada and counts players from as far away as New Zealand among its extremely active community. The extremely active community attends gaming conventions across the country and SRG Universe Inc has been a key sponsor at Origins Game Fair and has sponsored Gen Con. In 2019, the SRG Universe Team hosted their very own convention drawing over 120 of the most devote fans to Cincinnati Ohio, where attendees played for three days straight. While at the convention, attendees got to meet and play Supershow with Sami Callihan, Brian Cage, Tyler Breeze, and Shawn Spears.
