PictureWho will win the World Title Series?
By Graham "GSM" Matthews

X-Division Champion Tigre Uno, DJ Z, Mandrews and Manik def. Eli Drake, Crimson, Jessie Godderz and Micah

I didn't think I'd give a damn about this match because everyone involved are glorified enhancement talents at the moment with the exception of Tigre Uno, and while it didn't mean anything in the long run, it was fun for what it was. Everyone put forth a decent effort and the spots sprinkled in throughout the bout made it better than expected. I also appreciated how Drake treating all of his partners with disrespect during the match paid off at the end with them abondoning him. I was going to make mention of how it made no sense to have Micah team with his former partner Drake, but from what I can recall, Drake never turned on Micah, only on Drew Galloway. Then again, when did Micah turn heel?

King of the Mountain Champion Bobby Roode def. Mr. Anderson, TNA World Tag Team Champion Eddie Edwards and Rockstar Spud in an Elimination Fatal 4-Way Match

For TNA to call this an "All-Stars" match is really an indication that the company has very few true stars left. Similar to the previous match, there was nothing on line here, so I originally had no incentive to care who won. From an in-ring standpoint, however, they delivered a solid matchup. The early eliminations of Spud and Edwards didn't do anything for me, but once it came down to Roode and Anderson, they found great chemistry together and the right guy went over.

Ethan Carter III, Matt Hardy, Lashley and Eric Young Discussed the World Title Series

If this World Title Series was going to come down to Hardy and EC3 since the start, then the whole series was a waste of time. I realize TNA didn't have many other options with these matches being taped so far in advance, but it's foolish that no one was elevated from the series at all. On the bright side, all four competitors cut pretty good, intense promos, though I can't say that they made me any more excited for the semifinals and finals of the tournament in a few weeks.

Overall Show

After five months, TNA finally ran out of original content to air on TV. At least the World Title Series matches made sense with the storyline that's been happening since early October. The two matches on this show were total throwaway, but if nothing else, they exceeded my expectations. The panel at the end was fine, but nothing worth going out of your way to see. From what I've read, this was the final airing of TNA on Destination America with Best of 2015 episodes to air in the next two weeks. Thus, I'll be back with reviews starting on January 5, 2016 upon their move to Pop TV. Until then, happy holidays!
