By CJ Blaze WWE has done a good job of building towards the big matches for ‘Mania. A lot of people in the IWC say that the undercard seems to be thrown together, and I agree with that. Despite these negatives, I’m super excited for the big event! Team Funk vs. Team Scholars (Brodus Clay, Tensai, Cameron and Naomi vs. Rhodes, Sandow, and The Bella Twins) Tons of Funk faced Rhodes and Sandow, and defeated them in the pre-show for Elimination Chamber. I feel the faces are the underdogs in this one, since the heels have each had a tag team win over the others. Winners: Team Funk Chris Jericho vs. Fandango I wasn’t excited about this one at first, but I think it will turn out alright. Jericho is the perfect person for Fandango to start off feuding with for several reasons. It’s provided some comedic relief, and they are both have experience in the ring. Fandango can’t lose in his first match for the gimmick, but a loss won’t hurt Jericho as he will most likely be going back on tour for Fozzy. Winner: Fan-dan-gooo The Miz vs. Wade Barrett © - Intercontinental Championship
The Miz has been thrown in with the midcard champions as of lately, and he now is set in a feud with the IC champion, Wade Barrett. Barrett has done hardly anything with it. Taking a singles loss to Bo Dallas didn’t help anything either. Miz needs something to boost him up, and I would really like to see both of these men go towards the World title. Winner and new IC Champion: The Miz Sheamus, Orton, and Big Show vs. The Shield All I’m going to say, is that this should be interesting. Big Show is a tweener right now, and his direction is not that clear. Sheamus and Orton have been known to have a temper, and when you mix all three components together, you get a Celtic Viper Show, literally. On the other hand, The Shield will prove that they are worthy of fighting on the big stage. All six men will shine, but I’m just not sure who goes over on this one. Sheamus and Orton could use a win, but is it too early for The Shield to lose? Winners: The Shield- dirty Ryback vs. Mark Henry This is the match Ryback needs to win. I’m hoping that this win will lead to a World title hunt for Ryback. Mark Henry has basically become an enhancement talent while decimating other jobbers at the same time. Winner: Ryback Team Hell No © vs. Ziggler and Big E Langston- Tag Team Championships Kane and Bryan have their course as a team, but Ziggler and Langston may not be the right people to drop the titles to. If Ziggler is going to be getting a World title run, then why is he even getting a title match? Winner: Team Hell No- to retain Alberto Del Rio © vs. Jack Swagger- WHC Match I was almost sure Swagger was going to win before his DUI. But now I'm not so sure. I really think that ADR will retain only for Ziggler to cash in his contract and win the title. Winner: Del Rio and then Ziggler by cash-in Triple H vs. Lesnar- No Holds Barred/Triple H's career on the line I'm not interested in this match at all. All I'm gonna say is Hunter needs to avenge his loss at SummerSlam. Winner: Triple H CM Punk vs. The Undertaker- The Streak I'm looking forward to this match the most! Even though ending the streak would do wonders for Punk's career, I really think Undertaker needs to retire undefeated. This match should be great, and well worth the money. Winner: The Undertaker The Rock © vs. John Cena- WWE Championship I wasn't interested in this until the hall of fame panel interview thing on Raw. It will be interesting to see what happens with Rock after 'Mania, since he's being advertised for Extreme Rules in May. Do you think WWE will pull a quick one on us? Could The Rock retain and defend it at Extreme Rules? Yeah, I don’t think that will happen either. Winner and new WWE Champ: John Cena Some say it’s a weak card. Some say it isn’t because of The Rock, Triple H, Brock Lesnar, and Undertaker. What are your thoughts?
