Brooks Jensen def. Bodhi HaywardI couldn't care less about Jensen and Josh Briggs and the same can be said about Andre Chase and his goofy protégé Hayward, so needless to say, I didn't have high hopes for this match. It ended up being decent, but nothing more. Hayward doing burpees during his matches continues to be stupid, but at least they're giving him a chance to get better by having him wrestle consistently on 205 Live. Jensen and Briggs stayed ringside for the women's tag team match because of Jensen's "crush" on Kayden Carter. Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter def. Lash Legend and Fallon HenleyDidn't Legend beat Henley recently on 205 Live? Catanzaro and Carter are the regular team of the two, so they had to win here, but I'm curious if Legend and Henley will end up teaming in the women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. They feel miscast as partners, but if Henley can carry Legend to a competent contest and keep her limited, that's all that matters. This was better than I thought it would be and it was nicely paced. Kushida def. Damon KempKemp is one of the 205 Live enhancement guys that has stood out to me because of his amateur wrestling background, so I was looking forward to seeing what he could do here with a seasoned veteran like Kushida. Unfortunately, they didn't seem to mesh very well at all and he had a less-than-stellar showing. It's probably for the better that this was kept on the shorter side. It's also safe to say Kushida has never meant less in his three years in WWE than he does right now. Overall ShowI genuinely couldn't tell if the crowd was louder than usual, if they were mic'd better or if it was canned-in noise. Either way, this was a perfectly passable show. None of the three matches were awful, so there was that. Th opener and the women's tag team match were solid enough, though I wish Kusida's match/appearance on the program meant more. By recent 205 Live standards, I'd consider this to be a slightly thumbs-up show but far from one you need to see.
