Mark Andrews def. Tony NeseAlong with Ariya Daivari, Nese as been the go-to jobber on 205 Live since the start and will need major rehabbing before anyone can take him seriously. Thus, it was no surprise that Andrews emerged victorious here and he had an impressive outing, per usual. He's so damn fun to watch and Nese sold well for his offense. Based off Drew Gulak's post-match comments, it looks like he and Andrews could be headed for a feud soon, which would make sense since Gulak eliminated him from the WWE Cruiserweight Championship Tournament. 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick Interviewed Cedric Alexander and Mustafa AliI love when they do these types of interviews because it comes across like an actual sport and gives meaning to the match they are promoting. Both of these guys have been showcased in awesome fashion throughout the Cruiserweight title tourney, and they had another chance to establish their motivations for wanting to win the belt at WrestleMania. Similar to Shinsuke Nakamura vs. AJ Styles, both men are babyfaces, but it has been much better built in my opinion. Buddy Murphy def. TJP, Akira Tozawa and Kalisto in a Fatal 4-Way MAtchNo, there was nothing on the line in this match, but you'd have to assume the winner will be in line for a future championship shot coming out of WrestleMania. This was all action and an absolute blast, or "all thriller and no filler" as Ring of Honor Enforcer Bully Ray would say. Everyone had a chance to shine at one point or another and it had a great pace to it. Murphy coming out on top was the right call because he's new to the brand and this victory should solidify him as a regular in the Cruiserweight division. Overall ShowThis show was proof with that even though the Cruiserweight Championship Tournament is ending at WrestleMania, 205 Live will be just fine. The segment with Ali and Alexander was excellent, the opening was entertaining, and the main event is certainly worth seeking out. 205 Live has finally become what it should have been all along, and if it can maintain this momentum, it will be WWE's best weekly wrestling show by far. Now the next step is convincing the masses to start tuning in and realizing how much better it is than it was before.
