Edris Enofe def. Malik BladeEnofe was a totally fresh face to me, so because I had no idea who he was, I assume this would finally be where Blade picked up his first win on 205 Live. Alas, that did not happen (and the crowd oh so desperately wanted to see it as well), but we're getting closer, I can feel it! These guys got to showcase their skills and had a fun opener in the time they were allotted. Enofe must have experience on the independent scene because he has talent. More of this on 205 Live, please. Tiffany Stratton def. Amari MillerIt's not often we get mic work on this show, so Stratton had that going for her. Unfortunately, that might be the only thing going for her at the moment. She got to introduce herself to the audience a bit with her promo, but the problem is, whatever her character is supposed to be isn't very interesting. Rather, it's beyond basic, and from what I saw in this match, she has a long way to go in the ring as well. Considering Miller is a work in progress as well, this should have never been booked, even though they kept it short. They won't benefit from working with each other. Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter def. Valentina Feroz and Yulisa LeonI find the latest gimmick change for Catanzaro and Carter to be stupid, but I applaud them for trying. At the very least, they've progressed considerably as wrestlers in 2021 and have had some standout showings, including in this match. Feroz and Leon were fine, but the tag team work from Catanzaro and Carter was what made this fun, and their tag team finisher looks fantastic. They've challenged for the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship before, but they should probably be in line for a run with the belts eventually. Overall ShowAfter a rare above-average episode last week (or was it two weeks ago?), we were back to the norm this week with more new faces that have no business wrestling on TV, Peacock, or whatever 205 Live is airing on now. Enofe was impressive and I'd like to see more of him, but aside from Catanzaro and Carter, the rest of these people belong on the NXT house show circuit, which I believe still isn't running and that's an issue. This was a mixed bag of a show with the good outweighing the show, but let's just call 205 Live what it is at this point and that's NXT Dark.
