The Brian Kendrick def. Ashante "Thee" AdonisThe former Tehuti Miles was officially renamed Ashante "Thee" Adonis during Wednesday's episode of NXT when he faced Velveteen Dream. That was actually the most impressive showing he's had yet. This wasn't as exciting of an outing despite being shorter, but at least it was well-wrestled and Adonis looked good in defeat. He has a bright future ahead of him if he can continue to improve and I liked that Kendrick showed him respect afterward. Ever-Rise def. Andrew and Erik LockheartIt feels like Ever-Rise never win whenever I see them in action, so it was nice for them to pick up a much-needed victory. Even better was that they were more aggressive than usual and went over in decisive fashion. I'm all for building up Ever-Rise, especially at a time now when NXT, Raw and SmackDown could use more credible teams. They need to tweak their characters a bit more to avoid coming across as generic, but I'm glad they're making progress. Legado del Fantasma (Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde) def. Oney Lorcan and Danny BurchLegado del Fantasma interrupted last week's main event of Lorcan and Burch vs. Ever-Rise, so that's why this match was made. They've proven in the past that they work well together and this was another enjoyable encounter from them. Granted, there wasn't anything overly special about it due to never reaching that next gear, but it served to give Legado del Fantasma another win and heat things up in the tag team picture with Ever-Rise also making their presence felt at ringside and preventing Santos Escobar from interfering. Overall Show205 Live's new format featuring three matches helps get more people on the show and allows them to be showcased with quick wins, but the show is still a half-hour long and thus the main events are getting less time than they used to it seems. The last few main events have been mostly average and this week's was no exception, although it had some fun moments. This was an average episode that did what it needed to do, but it isn't a show I'd recommend going out of your way to watch if you missed it.
