Mansoor def. Angel Garza
Mansoor remains a regular on Main Event, which is very interesting to me. Is he being groomed for a spot on the main roster, or is just on the show to add some variety to the matches? Either way, I'm a fan and I like that he's getting the chance to showcase his skills against established talent. As for Garza, I will never not complain about how he's been relegated to Main Event when he should be on Raw way more often than he is. This was a nice little match, but it was way too short to reach the heights it could have.
Humberto Carrillo def. Drew Gulak
These two have worked together a bunch over the last two years, so it wasn't surprising that they put together a well-wrestled match. You can throw them into the same category of underutilized people on the Raw roster as Garza. The action was enjoyable, but whose idea was it to book two roll-up finishes on the same show? That was weird. At any rate, I continue to applaud these guys for making the most of the time they're given on the show almost nobody watches (except for yours truly).
A majority of the Main Event guys have either been on 205 Live or are currently on the show (in the case of Mansoor). I say just combine the two shows at this point because at least they'd be getting more time at the Capitol Wrestling Center and can have the matches they're capable of. In all seriousness, this was a perfectly solid show with two quality matches. Feel free to skip over the recaps per usual, but the in-ring action was enjoyable for what it was.
