Mansoor def. Drew Gulak
Mansoor is coming along real nicely and working with experienced players such as Gulak are only going to help his cause. Gulak is great, and although he loses far more often than he wins, he makes anyone he is in the ring with better. That was once again the case here as these two had a very fun sprint. Unfortunately, it was only five minutes long, and although they made the most of the time they had, I wish this went a little longer.
The Lucha House Party def. Akira Tozawa and Angel Garza
It's astounding that Lucha House Party aren't featured on Raw more often despite the tag team division being in complete shambles at the moment. They briefly feuded with The Hurt Business earlier this year, but that's about it. If nothing else, they're still having quality matches here on Main Event against equally talented competitors such as Tozawa and Garza. This was a fun tag team affair that, much like the opener, should have gotten more time than it did.
With WrestleMania 37 this weekend, this edition of Main Event was understandably focused on hyping up all the major matches on the card. That might explain why the two featured matches were a bit shorter than usual, but at least they were enjoyable for what they were. It's almost all former Cruiserweights, which goes to show that WWE has no plans for these people once they move to the main roster. That's a shame. Again, though, this was a decent show.
