Ruby Riott def. Billie Kay
It's rare that matches on Main Event have any sort of storyline significance, but this one did. Riott has been feuding with The IIconics for over a month now, and in fact, Liv Morgan lost to Peyton Royce on Raw this past week. Morgan and Royce weren't at ringside for this, but this did help further that feud. Granted, it wasn't that great of a match because Kay is abysmal on her own, but Riott carried her to a competent contest and went over as she should have.
Angel Garza def. Titus O'Neil
As I've said time and time again, O'Neil really has no business being in the ring at this point, but at least he's been relegated to Main Event lately. It helped that he had a super skilled wrestler in Garza as an opponent as well. It was a solid match because of Garza, though I wish Garza would have put him away a bit quicker than he did.
I didn't have high hopes for this edition of Main Event upon finding out that both Billie Kay and Titus O'Neil would be in action, but to the credit of Riott and Garza, they made those matches better than I originally expected. While neither bout is worth going out of your way to see, the right people went over and it turned out to be a perfectly average episode on the whole.
