PictureGoldust slaps the taste out of Ryback's mouth.

WWE Tag Team Champion Goldust def. Ryback by Disqualification

Needless to say, Goldust has been putting on some of the best matches of his career in recent months. I wouldn't go as far to say that this was one of those matches, but it was still a solid match that was given good time. The finish seemingly came out of nowhere, but at least the disqualification loss somewhat protected Ryback. I don't understand why Ryback would take the loss here if the plan is for he and Curtis Axel to contend for the tag titles at some point, and I am still baffled by the Ryback-Axel pairing. Ryback went from headlining pay-per-views with CM Punk to losing to Goldust on Main Event. Think about that for a second.

The Usos def. 3MB

We have seen this match countless times in the point, so essentially there was nothing out of the ordinary. However, they worked a fine match with nice back-and-forth action. They made the most out of the small amount of time they were allotted, but there was no need for it to go any longer than it did. The ending outcome was never in doubt, but it is good to see the strong momentum of The Usos continue.

Damien Sandow def. R-Truth

It was a well wrestled match for what it was, but the live crowd couldn't have cared less. Honestly, I couldn't blame them, as WWE dropped the ball on Sandow by not following up on his Money in the Bank cash-in properly and Truth hasn't meant anything in years. The least they could have done was have Xavier Woods, Truth's newest tag team partner, at ringside. If nothing else, it was a good win for Sandow after becoming the No. 1 contender to the Intercontinental Championship on Monday's Raw.

Overall Show

After a few weeks of strong shows, this edition stuck out like a sore thumb, but at least WWE actually delivered on the advertised match this time around. There wasn't anything necessarily wrong with it, but none of the matches managed to stand out despite featuring average action. Nonetheless, there were no lengthy Raw recaps (the Raw Rebound video was kept short and sweet) and there was nothing to complain about coming out of this episode.
