WWE Main Event Review - February 10, 2022

Veer Mahaan def. T-Bar

I'm surprised these two would be paired up together considering they're both heels and T-Bar has been largely protected on Main Event. I'm also slightly disappointed Mahaan isn't more ironically over because of how his "coming to Raw" vignettes have essentially turned into a recurring meme online. Mahaan certainly isn't terrible and I think he could have potential if they bothered to debut him already. The crowd was mostly quiet, but this was a physical affair while it lasted. Mahaan hasn't been beaten since October, but then again, we've seen other people rack up victories like Keith Lee and Karrion Kross before getting released out of nowhere, so hopefully Veer doesn't meet that same fate.

The Hurt Business def. The Dirty Dawgs

Is it really The Hurt Business if Bobby Lashley and MVP aren't involved anymore? How much of a "hurt business" is it when it's only two people who lose far more often than they win? Nonetheless, this was a fun match that I appreciated got as much time as it did. The crowd was behind Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin in the second half and I was surprised they won. Then again, Dolph Ziggler just popped up on Tuesday's NXT, so maybe this will it for The Dirty Dawgs for a little while unless he'll be pulling double duty for the foreseeable future.

Overall Show

It's weird that we got two heel vs. heel matches on this show. Hurt Business were more of the babyfaces in the latter, but the lack of undercard babyfaces right now on Raw is noticeable. On the bright side, both bouts were fresh and well wrestled. Mahaan made a rare appearance (someone has to fix his GPS so it stops taking him to Main Event instead of to Raw) and the tag team match was enjoyable for what it was. You can't ask for much more than that.
