Veer Mahaan def. Apollo CrewsThis was a rematch from last week's show, though the biggest difference is that Mahaan was a straight-up babyface this time. Maybe he was doing this last week and I just failed to notice, but he came down to the ring smiling and shaking the hands of fans. He seemed to get a decent reaction from the audience in attendance (unless that was solely piped-in crowd noise), so I wouldn't be against him being brought to Raw in that role (assuming he ever actually debuts). The match itself was decent and competitive with Commander Azeez attempting to interfere a few times only for Mahaan to win, anyway. At this point, WWE may as well save Mahaan until after WrestleMania 38 because my guess is he'll get lost in the shuffle if he debuts before then. Liv Morgan def. WWE Women's Tag Team Champion Queen ZelinaIt's easy to forget that the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship are still a thing because it's been a while since they were last defended. I know Carmella was injured for a brief bit, but she wrestled recently, so I don't think that's the case anymore. Either way, Zelina's singles push has clearly stalled out since she won the Queen's Crown tournament. On the bright side, this was a fun, well-wrestled match from her and Morgan, who is still very over with the audience despite her many losses. I could see Morgan finding a partner to challenge Zelina and Carmella for the tag titles at WrestleMania if WWE doesn't have anything else planned for them. Maybe Sarah Logan? Overall ShowMain Event has been a fairly easy show to sit through each week in 2022 thus far and this was no exception. Granted, these matches aren't anything you need to go out of your way to see, but the action is usually enjoyable on the whole and it's nice to see notable names featured instead of the usual enhancement talent (who have largely been released by now, anyway). Mahaan as a babyface has potential as seen in his match with Crews and I liked Morgan vs. Vega, so this was a solid show in my book.
