Goldust def. Curt Hawkins
We've seen these two against each other before on Main Event and this was yet another average outing from them, but it is worth noting that Mandy Rose accompanied Goldust to the ring. Mind you, this was taped before they lost to Jimmy Uso and Naomi in the Mixed Match Challenge on Tuesday night, but I'm all for them being a permanent pairing going forward because it's just a spectacular visual and the chemistry is there. Other than that, this was nothing out of the ordinary.
Kalisto def. Ariya Daivari
Well, it looks like the recent reboot of 205 Live won't be affecting the Cruiserweight matches on 205 Live at all. That shouldn't surprise anyone at all considering Triple H will likely be running the Tuesday night tapings and Vince McMahon is still in charge of everything that happens on Mondays. That isn't to say this was a bad bout, though, as it was well-wrestled and they made the most of the time they were allotted. That said, I'd strongly recommend you check out Kalisto's excellent match versus Lince Dorado from 205 Live instead.
Both of the featured matches on this week's edition of 205 Live have been done before. While neither of them were terribly offensive, they didn't light the world on fire either and simply aren't worth going out of your way to see in a week filled with great wrestling across WWE's other shows. The recaps, with the possible exception of Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn from SmackDown Live, can be skipped over as well.
