By Graham "GSM" Matthews Kofi Kingston def. Curtis Axel Neither characters mean much at the moment, so it was hard for the crowd to get into the action, but at least Kingston's recent clean victory over Randy Orton on Raw boosted his credibility a bit. While Axel is still lost in the shuffle, at least he is a solid worker. He worked a good match with Kingston, which was given an ample amount of time. Kingston winning via a roll-up was strange since I see no reason why WWE should bother protecting Axel at this point, but it was a nice win for Kingston, regardless. Damien Sandow def. Sin Cara I am glad to see Sandow evolving his character by developing a mean streak. He had an impressive showing against John Cena on Raw and had a fine match against Cara here. The match was nothing out of the ordinary, and Ryback's random interruption at the end (more on that later) made the match feel like an afterthought more than anything. However, I was happy to see Sandow go over. It looks like Cara's mini-push is officially over, which is a shame considering he beat a former world champion twice last month. The Prime Time Players def. 3MB in a 2-on-3 Handicap Match The match was over before it even started, and I can't say I am disappointed by that. I always enjoy PTP, but I can't stand 3MB at all. Losing a Handicap match to them made them look extremely weak, but did it really do any damage to them if they didn't have any credibility to begin with? I would rather see PTP taken more seriously as tag team title contenders instead of being involved with this garbage. Los Matadores def. 3MB Firstly, why does Brad Maddox have the authority to make matches when he is the general manager of Raw and not Main Event? Secondly, is this the 5983590th time these two teams have faced off, or the 59232093th time? I lost track. It was your basic throwaway six-man tag team match, although it was fun at certain point toward the end. Even still, we have seen this match so many times in the past that I have grown numb to it by this point. Overall Show This was a below-average show that hardly featured anything memorable. The opening match between Axel and Kingston was good, but not worth going out of your way to see. The subsequent matches were forgettable and the appearances by Bad News Barrett and Ryback only made matters worse. It was funny the first time Ryback came out, but it became increasingly annoying the next three times. I understand they are trying to put over the fact that his character is crazy, but his shtick on this show was just overkill.
