Sarah Logan def. Dana Brooke
Brooke and Logan have split victories in recent weeks on Main Event, so you had to know a rubber match was only inevitable. This was decent while it lasted and I continue to be impressed by Brooke, who is clearly putting in the work to improve. I commend that, even if I still find her fairly bland. I expected Brooke to pick up the victory, so Logan beating her in clean fashion was a pleasant surprise. Then again, I was hoping this would be the end of the line for their rivalry, yet I'm sure we'll get another matchup between them next week so Brooke can get her win back.
Robert Roode def. Cedric Alexander
The commentators brought up how it was Roode who ended Alexander's undefeated streak on Main Event not too long ago. That was a really entertaining encounter and I was glad they once again had the chance to rip it up here. Granted, it was way shorter than I hoped it would be with the commercial break ruining its flow, but that final stretch was terrific and just an absolute blast. Roode comes out on top yet again over Alexander, though this time it was via nefarious means.
This week's edition of Main Event featured two rematches, so I can't recommend going out of your way to watch it. As much as I liked Roode vs. Alexander in the brief window of time they were allotted, it wasn't as strong as it could have been due to being cut short. Brooke vs. Logan was solid as well, but again, it marked the third time they've faced off in recent weeks, so it was hardly anything new. Although the Raw and SmackDown Live replays were a bit better than usual, this episode is still a hard pass.
