Titus O'Neil def. Akira Tozawa
I honestly didn't think O'Neil was still attending the TV tapings, but considering he was a part of Raw Talk this week, I guess they felt they could use him for a quick match on Main Event. He's a genuinely great dude doing great things in the world, but there's no reason he should still be wrestling. His matches are never good and this was no exception, especially since the ninja crap with Tozawa is insufferable. Here's hoping this was a one-and-done and we won't be seeing any more of O'Neil in the ring after this.
Bianca Belair def. Peyton Royce
It's hilarious how Ruby Riott has now lost to The IIconics back-to-back weeks on Raw, while Belair has beaten The IIconics in singles competition back-to-back weeks on Main Event. Maybe Riott should recruit Belair to be her tag team partner instead of Liv Morgan? This was way better than Belair's match with Billie Kay from last week, which isn't saying much because Kay is subpar in the ring. All in all, it was a solid outing.
O'Neil vs. Tozawa was about as bad as I thought it would be and, needless to say, no part of it is worth going out of your way to see. Belair vs. Royce was a bit better and actually enjoyable at certain points, but it wasn't amazing enough to where I would recommend watching this edition of Main Event. It wasn't terrible by any means, but I've seen better in recent months during the Performance Center era.
