![]() By Graham "GSM" Matthews Stardust def. Fandango This match was no different than their encounter on this week's Superstars, meaning it wasn't all that it could have been given who was involved. They incorporated more entertaining antics than they did on Superstars and the crowd was a bit more lively for it, but it was an otherwise flat match. What I found strange was how The Ascension was present at ringside for Stardust's match on this show and on SmackDown, but not on Superstars. Are they still a unit or is Creative just lazy with their consistency? Ryback def. Adam Rose Rose did the same shtick he did on Superstars during his entrance where he sang his name over and over again. It drew heat from the live crowd, but I don't think it was the right type of heat. It's a dead gimmick and I wish WWE would give him something he can sink his teeth into. Thankfully, the audience was solidly behind Ryback and was hot for his complete decimation of Rose, so at least this wasn't a total waste of time. The Bella Twins def. Naomi and Tamina
Ah, the old heel vs. heel match from WWE where the fans have zero incentive to cheer for anyone involved. That was the case here with Sasha Banks at ringside because they couldn't have cared less about the match or any of the four competitors. Does Team Bella really gain anything from beating Team B.A.D. at this point? I look forward to seeing Banks break out on her own, but that couldn't come soon enough. Overall Show It was nice we weren't subjected to all of the usual suspects (Heath Slater, Jack Swagger, R-Truth, etc.), but it was still a pretty pointless show. Stardust vs. Fandango, albeit a fine match, didn't live up to its full potential, Ryback vs. Rose was a quick squash and the women's tag team match was uninteresting. I'd advise against checking out this show and instead holding out for a future episode that's a bit more meaningful. |
