Konnor def. Rhyno
This had "cure for ammonia" written all over it. Seriously, who the hell thought it was a smart idea to put Rhyno up against a member of The Ascension? I enjoy Rhyno when he's teaming with Heath Slater or when he's up against a (at least) competent opponent, but I don't think I've ever seen anything resembling an above-average match from Konnor. As expected, the bout was completely dull and ended in anticlimactic fashion.
The Revival def. No Way Jose and Zack Ryder
Jose and Ryder have teamed up in the past and have nice chemistry together, but of course, The Revival were really the ones that made this match as entertaining as it was. Granted, it wasn't a classic by any means, but the final stretch or so was fun and I love the way The Revival work their matches. They aren't as formulaic as most tag matchups you'd normally see and The Revival always make their opponents look like a million bucks. Needless to say, The Revival winning was the right call because they're the regular tandem and not Jose and Ryder.
Raw was abysmal on Monday night, whereas SmackDown 1000 was quite the treat on the whole, so keep that in mind while watching any of the recaps from both shows on this edition of Main Event. Meanwhile, feel free to skip right over Rhyno vs. Konnor because it truly was a waste of time, but I actually liked The Revival vs. Jose and Ryder and thought they made the most of the time they were allotted.
