Doudrop def. Dana Brooke
It's been so long since Brooke last wrestled on Raw that I honestly forgot she was still on the roster. She wasn't going anywhere fast to begin with anyway, but her tag team partner Mandy Rose returning to NXT didn't help her cause at all. Doudrop is in the midst of a rivalry with Eva Marie on Raw (I believe they'll finally go one-on-one next week), so there was no way she was losing here. The match was decent for what it was and had the right result. That's about the best thing I can say about it. On a side note, Doudrop's new entrance is not good.
Ricochet def. Cedric Alexander
I think it's practically impossible for these two to have a bad match together. You could tell they were extra motivated to go out there and kill it like only they can. As you'd expect, this was a ton of fun while it lasted. My only regret is that it didn't happen on Raw where more people could see it. If WWE continues to underutilize them, I wouldn't be surprised to see them leave in the next year or so. It couldn't be more obvious that Alexander is frustrated with his spot right now and I don't blame him.
Needless to say, make time for Ricochet and Alexander if you have eight or nine minutes to spare. They never cease to bring it and get the crowd invested whenever they face off. Doudrop vs. Brooke, not so much. That isn't to say their match was awful by any means and I think Doudrop is talented, but it was pretty much what you'd expect. Hey, at least it was something different. Solid show this week.
