WWE Money In The Bank 2013: Odds, Wants, & Predictions

Money In The Bank is only hours away, and this year's two ladder matches are arguably the most unpredictable in the PPV's brief history. While it might be unpredictable, I will attempt to predict the outcome of every match, while also telling you what I want to happen and the odds for each match.

Chris Jericho vs. Ryback

Odds: Ryback has been on one hell of a PPV losing streak, with his last win dating back to almost a year ago against Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks. Meanwhile, Chris Jericho has been making people tap out left and right, meaning that Chris Jericho is the odds on favourite to win.

Want: I know Chris Jericho's current role in the WWE is to put over talent, but I would love to see him have one last World Championship run. So, seeing him win would put him in a better place for a future World Championship shot. Go Jericho!

Prediction: As I stated before, Jericho's role right now in the WWE is to put people over, and there is no one who needs that more right now than Ryback. Expect Ryback to break his PPV losing streak, but with a little help from his soon-to-be manager Vickie Guerrero.

World Heavyweight Championship Money In The Bank Match

Odds: Everyone who is in this match (other than Dean Ambrose) has been a victim of bad booking over the past year, so it's pretty exciting knowing that WWE is going to finally bring one of these talented stars out of mid-card hell. But, out of all those mid-card stars looking to break out, only one has gotten some momentum over the past few weeks, which would be newly minted "Real American" Antonio Cesaro. If you're a betting man, put your money on the Swiss Sensation.

Want: There are so many guys in this match to root for, and I would be extremely happy to see almost any of them win the briefcase. But, there is one guy who is long over-due for a World Championship run, and that would be Wade Barrett. He has the look, the charisma, and the ability to become a great champion, and I've become extremely tired of seeing him regulated to being a jobber.

Prediction: As I said before, I would be happy to see almost any of them win the briefcase, and I predict that I will be very happy when Cody Rhodes finally grabs his well-deserved Money In The Bank briefcase. Of course, he'll have to battle with his best friend Damien Sandow on the top of the ladder before he can get it.

WWE Championship Money In The Bank Match

Odds: Everyone in this match is a legitimate threat in this match, but CM Punk has garnered the most wins over the past few weeks, making him the odds on favourite.

Want: Daniel Bryan is the best thing in the WWE right now. Period. There is no one who is more entertaining than him, no one who is putting on better matches than him, and no one gets a better reaction than him. There is literally no reason as to why he shouldn't be the number one guy in the company, and there is no reason why he shouldn't win Money In The Bank this year. Just think, how satisfying would it be to see little ol' American Dragon follow in the footsteps of fellow indy alumni CM Punk and win the WWE Championship from John Cena?

Prediction: Is anyone who's isn't Daniel Bryan winning Money In The Bank? In the words of Dean Ambrose: "Nope".

AJ (c) vs. Kaitlyn - Divas Championship Match

Odds: While AJ has been skipping around the ring and sitting on the entrance ramp making faces, Kaitlyn has actually been picking up wins. So, Kaitlyn is going into this match as the odds-on favourite.

Want: AJ has brought more interest to the Divas Division than it has seen in years, and it would all go away if AJ lost her Divas Championship. AJ should make Kaitlyn tap out again, and go on to feud with NXT's Paige. Who doesn't want to see AJ take on the anti-Divas?

Prediction: Like I said, the Divas Division is seeing more action and interest from the fans than it has in a long time, and the WWE realizes that. Expect AJ to retain.

Picture
The Shield (c) vs. The Usos - Tag Team Championship Match

Odds: The Shield. Did you actually think the Usos would have a chance?

Want: Shield. No elaboration needed.

Prediction: The Usos will pull of a huge upset over the Shield...just kidding. Shield wins.

Picture
Curtis Axel (c) vs. The Miz - Intercontinental Championship Match

Odds: The Miz has scarcely competed in the past few months, while Curtis Axel has been rising to the top of the WWE ladder by picking up wins over credible stars. Axel is going into this as the odds-on favourite.

Want: Don't get me wrong, I'm a Miz fan, but he's been in the mid-card title scene for almost a year straight now. Can we just have him lose and move on?

Prediction: Curtis Axel's star will continue to rise, as he will defeat the Miz on Sunday with the Perfect-Plex.

Picture
Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler - World Heavyweight Championship Match

Odds: Del Rio hasn't been the most successful champion so far, while Ziggler has been beating the crap out of everyone since his face turn. Ziggler definitely has the best chance of winning this match.

Want: I love Del Rio as a heel, but Ziggler needs an actual World Title run. WE need an actual Ziggler world title run. He's a two time World Champion, but he has had no reigns. It's time to see him show-off with gold around his waist.

Prediction: This is how the story is supposed to go. The supposed "hero" shows his true colours and uses dirty tactics to take the title away from the new hero. The hero makes his return to take back what is his in an epic battle. Well, I think the WWE is going to change that story. Yes, I think that WWE is going to screw everyone over by taking away the satisfying ending to the expertly done double turn that happened at Payback, and have Del Rio defeat Dolph Ziggler. And no, the feud won't continue after that, as Dolph will begin feuding with Big E Langston. I guess we'll have to wait another year or two for a Ziggler World Title run.

Picture
John Cena (c) vs. Mark Henry - WWE Championship Match

Odds: Mark Henry has not been in a match in months, while Cena has been doing what he usually does: win. Cena has the best chances of winning this match at Money In The Bank.

Want: I love Mark Henry, I really do. I think he'd make a great champion, and we all know he deserves it. But, I want to see Daniel Bryan take the WWE Championship away from Cena, not Henry. Sorry Henry, but I need Cena to win if I want my Bryan/Cena feud for the Summer.

Prediction: Not only do I want the Cena/Bryan feud to happen, but dirt sheets have been reporting that WWE has been planning this for a while. I expect these plans to come to fruition, and Cena will beat Mark Henry. But, that won't be the end of Money In The Bank. Mark, Henry, frustrated at his loss, will deliver a World Strongest Slam to John Cena. Cue Bryan's music, and in a repeat of DB's first cash-in, Daniel Bryan becomes World Champion after Mark Henry takes out his opponent for him.

I agree with all your predictions! I really hope they don't put briefcase on punk just for a record, I want lesnar's music to hit when CM punk is scaling the ladder and come out destroy punk and here there it is one of the main events set for Summerslam!

The key to successful leadership is influence, not authority.
