By Austin Robinson The PPV schedule for 2013 in the WWE has been released, and we once again see some familiar faces. From LordsofPain.net: * Royal Rumble - 1/27/13 - Phoenix, AZ * Elimination Chamber - 2/17/13 - New Orleans, LA * WrestleMania - 4/7/13 - East Rutherford, NJ * Extreme Rules - 5/19/13 - St. Louis, MO * TBD - 6/16/13 - Chicago, IL * Money In The Bank - 7/14/13 - Philadelphia, PA * SummerSlam - 8/18/13 - Los Angeles, CA * Night Of Champions - 9/15/13 - Detroit, MI * Over The Limit - 10/6/13 - Buffalo, NY * Hell In A Cell - 10/27/13 - Miami, FL * Survivor Series - 11/24/13 - Boston, MA * TLC - 12/15/13 - Houston, TX We, like I mentioned, are seeing some familiar faces once again.
Royal Rumble is in Phoenix like we have know for quite a while. The Elimination Chamber, which is a huge show considering Rock is advertised, is being held in New Orleans, which is a contender for Wrestlemania 30 in 2014. Then, the biggest stage of them all, Wrestlemania, is in New Jersey, as we have known since this time last year. Extreme Rules returns in its usual spot, where the St Louis crowd will grab that PPV. While it may not live up to the Chicago crowd from last year, they have shown they are a solid crowd, especially from the Royal Rumble last year. Surprisingly, the June PPV has not yet been decided upon, but it will be in Chicago, a crowd that is always hot. The two shows following are no surprise, as the usual Money in the Bank and Summerslam nab those spots. Summerslam will be in LA as always. Money in the Bank in Philadelphia will be great, as, like Chicago, are always a great crowd. Night of Champions, while not my favorite event, was above average last year. This year's event will be held in Detroit. That event will be followed by Over the Limit, which is changing from the normal May slot, over to October. That event will be held in Buffalo. Hell in a Cell returns in its usual late October slot. Despite never being a great show, the always hot Miami crowd should enhance the overall show. The forgotten member of the Big 4, Survivor Series, is being held in Boston once again, a crowd that is usually hot; and the last PPV of the year is TLC, being held in Houston. The biggest question coming out of this announcement? What will be held in the June slot? As already announced, the show will be held in Chicago, a great crowd as always. The choices are plentiful. King of the Ring is a good choice. Maybe Rebellion (which I said should make a return in my Wrestle Enigma debut column.) What do you think of this news? What do you think should be in the June slot?
