Odyssey Jones def. Damon KempThis was an interesting match to do on Level Up of all places. Jones recently returned to NXT TV and is involved in a feud with Von Wagner, so I'm not surprised he would win. That said, Kemp was a recurring highlight on NXT TV (both in the ring and on the mic) throughout his program with The Creed Brothers, so it's a bummer he hasn't had anything else going on since it wrapped up. This was solid stuff and gave Jones another win. Sol Ruca def. Valentina FerozAs I've said before, Ruca is an extremely impressive athlete and can go far in WWE if she can continue to develop her skills. That said, Level Up is the right place for her right now, not NXT TV. She and Feroz had a perfectly fine match, but that incredible finisher from Ruca will be what gets everyone buzzing on social media, giving this show more attention than it's gotten since the Level Up rebrand. Ruca shouldn't hit that move every time, but it's seriously quite the spectacle. Trick Williams def. Ikemen JiroWilliams recently wrestled on Main Event and made the most of his opportunity against Cedric Alexander. I love his pairing with Carmelo Hayes, but if Hayes were to get called up to Raw or SmackDown without him sometime soon, I think Williams would do just fine on his own. He and Jiro had a nice main event and Williams winning was obviously the right call. Jiro is the perfect babyface enhancement guy because he connects with the crowd and always makes his opponents look good. Overall ShowIf nothing else, this show is worth seeking out for that finisher from Ruca alone. Then again, you can easily find it on Twitter, but still, this was a slight-above-average edition of Level Up. We got more established names than usual, and although none of the matches stood out in a major way, all of them were serviceable and highlighted some promising talent. This is the format that works for Level Up (though an entertaining, competitive match in the main event would help).
