Andre Chase and Bodhi Hayward def. Bryson Montana and Damaris GriffinBless Chase U for being as over with this crowd as they are. I still find the whole gimmick to be stupid and don't care for either Chase or Hayward, but at least the crowd isn't quiet for their matches, so there's that. This is random but I interviewed either Montana and Griffin right after they were signed by WWE last August at the Las Vegas tryouts over SummerSlam weekend. I honestly don't who is who because of their new names, but they held their own in there. This was fine for the time given. Amari Miller def. Arianna GraceThis was a rematch from a few weeks ago when Grace debuted and beat Miller. This was Miller's chance at revenge and she was able to get her win back. I was starting to think Miller would be put on the backburner with all of this new female talent debuting as part of the NXT Breakout Tournament, but this proved otherwise. It was a perfectly passable match and an improvement over their original encounter, though I can't say I'm clamoring to see a rubber matchup. Trick Williams def. Dante ChenWilliams continues to be booked as Carmelo Hayes' lackey on NXT, but to his credit, he is improving whenever I see him in action on Level Up. That said, there wasn't much to this match despite being positioned as the "main event." I enjoy Chen's intensity, but he hasn't really progressed at all, specifically as a character, since he was initially introduced late last year. This was solid but featured nothing out of the ordinary. Overall ShowThis was a serviceable show. None of the three matches were egregiously bad, but none of them were remotely above average, either. They were designed to give the talent involved more experience and exposure, so from that standpoint, they served a purpose. This certainly wasn't a show to seek out, but for what Level Up is supposed to be, it was acceptable. That's perhaps the best thing I can say about it.
