The show kicks off with a video highlighting Bo Dallas winning the battle royal to get his shot at the NXT Title tonight!
Sami Zayn vs. Antonio Cesaro
I could watch these two fight all night! Their chemistry is great, and they will probably be fighting each other for a world title someday. Zayn’s loss comes as a surprise because it kind of kills his momentum, but it won’t matter too much.
Winner: Antonio Cesaro - by pinfall
-Renee Young interviewed Baylee backstage about her upcoming match in the Women’s title tournament. Baylee has a new gimmick. where she loves robots.
Travis Tyler and Baron Corbin vs. Scott Dawson and Garrett Dylan
Dylan and Dawson impressed me this week. Their teamwork is great, and their goal is to be the NXT Tag Team champions. It could happen.
Winners: Dawson and Dylan - by pinfall
-Backstage, Neville, Graves, and Ohno are having a conversation about who should be fighting Bray Wyatt next week. Neville is scheduled to fight him. Regal walks up and tells them if they work together, they can stop the Wyatt Family much like how superstars are trying to stop The Shield.
Women’s Tournament: Baylee vs. Alicia Fox
Fox dominated in the beginning, and then Baylee eventually took control. Baylee’s new gimmick just doesn’t work. She needs to go back to the darker character to show off her strength and abilities she showed in this match. Fox advances and will face Paige in three weeks.
Winner: Alicia Fox - by pinfall
NXT Championship Match: Bo Dallas vs. Big E Langston ©
These two went at it for ten solid minutes before Langston’s six-month reign went poof. It was a solid match that Big E shined in. and seemed slow at times. With Big E on the main roster, it was time he dropped it.
Winner: and NEW NXT Champion, Bo Dallas!
Overall Reaction: The action continued to keep my attention once again this week. A new NXT Champion was crowned, and at least one person/team from each match really impressed me. The future looks bright for WWE.
Next Week’s Main Event: The Wyatt Family vs. Neville, Graves, and Ohno
