Mark Andrews def. Kenny WilliamsThese are two very talented athletes who have been with NXT UK since the get-go. That said, it feels like Williams has much more going on these days than Andrews, who feels lost in the shuffle without the rest of Subculture not around right now (I believe Flash Morgan Webster is injured, but where has Dani Luna been?). They had a well-wrestled opener, but the distraction finish with Tiger Turan costing Williams the win was lame even though it furthered that feud. Symbiosis (Primate and T-Bone) def. Tate Mayfairs and Oli BlakeThis was a pretty standard squash for Symbiosis, who dominated their opponents and made short work of them. I assumed it would be business as usual for them, but I liked how they then proceeded to lay out Eddie Dennis afterward. Dennis has served as their manager for the last year and a half and hasn't done them any favors whatsoever. The act definitely had potential, but they lost way too many times and couldn't be taken seriously. I'd actually like to see Primate reunite with Wild Boar as The Hunt, but time will tell. Eliza Alexander def. AmaleI haven't seen much of Alexander in the ring in NXT UK, so I have yet to get a good grasp of what she can do. Amale is improving and I've been digging her as a babyface, but this was the third straight loss she's suffered against Alexander and Xia Brookside. She's obviously due a victory soon and I'm sure that's where this is leading. The match itself was decent, but there wasn't anything special about it. NXT UK Women's Champion Meiko Satomura def. Ivy NileAnything was an improvement over Satomura's awful match with Isla Dawn recently. In all seriousness, this was much better than I thought it would be given Nile's level of inexperience. She's looked impressive in most of her NXT matches, but she hasn't had a competitive match that was memorable, either, or at least until now. This was an enjoyable main event where Nile was made to look credible in defeat. Satomura showing respect to Nile with the post-match handshake was a nice touch. Overall ShowLast week's episode was a one-match show and this was more of the same. We got four matches instead of three, but only the main event was worthwhile. The other three weren't bad by any means and they all served a purpose, but there isn't anything overly interesting about the NXT UK brand right now outside of where they're headed with Moustache Mountain, which feels like it's overshadowing the NXT United Kingdom Championship picture. Who's next to challenge Ilja Dragunov, anyway?
