WWE NXT UK Review - November 11, 2021

Mark Andrews def. Nathan Frazer

Frazer ran into Andrews at the United Kingdom Performance Center last week and challenged him to a match out of the blue, so this was more about respect than anything else. Both guys wrestle a similar fast-paced style, so you had to know this would be a blast and it was. Frazer makes the most of every opportunity he gets and Andrews is consistently a treat to watch. It was a highly enjoyable opener and I would have been fine with either guy winning.

Dani Luna def. Stevie Richards

Luna is fresh off a win over Xia Brookside and this was a nice way to keep her momentum rolling. She's pretty good in the ring and Richards has impressed me immensely as well. They had a quality, competitive match in the time they were allotted and Luna scoring her second straight win was a pleasant surprise. It looks like her Blair Davenport will be her next opponent based on their interaction afterward backstage.

Moustache Mountain def. Symbiosis (Primate and T-Bone), Oliver Carter & Ashton Smith, and Jack Starz & Dave Mastiff in an NXT UK Tag Team Championship No. 1 Contender's Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match

As soon as Moustache Mountain were added to this thing, you had to know they were winning the whole thing. However, I didn't have a problem with the predictability in this case because it was such a fun four-way. No other team involved comes close to the level of importance Moustache Mountain have, but everyone had their time to shine and it was all action from start to finish. I assume Moustche Mountain will take the titles from Pretty Deadly in this upcoming rematch.

Overall Show

This was one of my favorite all-around editions of NXT UK in a while. We're usually subjected to some stuff in the middle that I typically don't care about, but we didn't get that this week. Instead, it was a strong show with all three matches delivering and the usual hype for the following week in between. Having fans back in the crowd has certainly helped, but the next step is bringing back the TakeOver specials to give these feuds something to build to.
