Toni Storm def. Dakota Kai

I'd argue that these two are among the brightest stars in the NXT UK women's division, so it was cool to see them collide in a friendly exhibition. Both of them have a ton to offer and are extremely skilled workers, so it should have come as no surprise that this was a very good match. They were allowed to showcase their skills a bit and made the most of the time they were allotted. Storm just recently won the 2018 Mae Young Classic, so it made sense for her to win here.

Zack Gibson def. Amir Jordan

Gibson is coming off a great match and win against Noam Dar, so this victory allowed him to maintain momentum. It wasn't much more than a glorified squash, mind you, but Jordan looked fine whenever he scored any offense over Gibson. Gibson cut another quality promo post-match where he played up his accomplishments so far in NXT UK before Trent Seven interrupted him, seemingly setting up a future face-off between the two.

Jordan devlin def. Kenny Williams

Devlin needs more work in the personality department, but he is talented enough in the ring and I think he can be a real player on this show in due time. Meanwhile, I don't know much about Williams, but he fared well for himself here. They had a pretty fun match in the time they were given and Devlin scored the win as he should have. He hopefully should be placed in a program before long.

Wolfgang and The Coffey Brothers def. Mark Andrews, Flash Morgan Webster and Ashton Smith

The last few weeks of TV did an excellent job of building this bout up, so it felt meaningful and all six stars shined at one point or another. It helped that it was a lengthy main event and the action was entertaining enough where the crowd was into everything they did. It was imperative that the new heel faction went over and they did, but I appreciated that the babyfaces looked credible in defeat.

Overall Show

Similar to past episodes, this was a solid show from the NXT UK brand and I like that stories are being told from week-to-week on the program. Additionally, it's cool that angles are being advanced going into the following week and fans have at least one or two matches to look forward to. As for this episode, the main event and opener were above-average, while the other two matches were well-wrestled and served a purpose.
