Mark Coffey def. Rohan RajaGallus already feel overexposed as it is, so seeing Mark Coffey in action against Rohan Raja of all people wasn't terribly exciting to me. Don't get me wrong, the match was perfectly fine for what it was, but I can't say I care about Gallus feuding with the duo of Raja and Teoman. Following Coffey's win, he and Wolfgang were immediately ambushed by Raja and Teoman, likely setting the stage for an upcoming tag team matchup. Amale def. Myla GraceAmale must have turned some heads in her match with Meiko Satomura not too long ago because she's been receiving much more focus since then. She's definitely been impressive and I appreciate her intensity, so if she can continue to hone her skills in the ring and on the mic, I see no reason why she can't be a shining star in this division. This was basically an elongated squash for Amale with Blair Davenport looking on from the ramp. Charlie Dempsey def. Danny JonesDempsey is such a treat to watch work, and no, I'm not just saying that because he's the son of William Regal. He fits the style of the NXT UK brand so well and I'm already looking forward to the many match possibilities he can have here. This was another enjoyable, solid showcase for him. I would've loved to see him vs. WALTER, but I assume WALTER is done in NXT UK considering we haven't seen him since he lost the NXT United Kingdom Championship back in August. Noam Dar def. Tyler Bate to Win the NXT UK Heritage Cup ChampionshipThese two could have a quality match in their sleep and, to no one's surprise, this was no exception. I'm typically not a huge fan of the Heritage Cup matches, but they switched up the formula and wrestled with a great sense of urgency, which kept the pace moving nicely throughout. Bate mentioning last week that Dar had never beat him before should have been a sign Dar was winning here. The only thing I didn't like about this was the goofy finish with Trent Seven "accidentally" throwing the towel in the ring and costing Bate the title thanks to Pretty Deadly. It looked completely contrived, but I have no issue with this leading to another round of Pretty Deadly vs. Moustache Mountain. Overall ShowThis was a bit better of a show than what we got last week, mostly thanks to the strong second half. Bate and Dar delivered (as I expected them to) in the main event and the championship changing hands was notable. Dempsey's strong showing was also entertaining. The opener was the weakest thing on the show, but everything else served a purpose. We also got effective build for a few matches coming up, specifically Satomura vs. Jinny for the NXT UK Women's Championship next week.
