WWE SmackDown Review - 25th March 2011

Hey Guys James here! Today I will give you the official review for Smackdown on the 25th March!

So we start the show off backstage where Teddy Long, said Edge and Alberto Del Rio cannot lay a finger on the other otherwise they're banned from WrestleMania 27. Straight away I found my self thinking SmackDown is ruined! Guess its up to Christian to steal the show again…

To start the show we have a Inter-brand match. Raw vs. SmackDown and Rey Mysterio vs Punk. CM Punk looked to dominate this match focusing on the ribs of Rey. (Bet he was crying to management about that) This match was nothing special and Cody Rhodes came out to interfere like I expected making this match result in a DQ. You know its weird about 200 days ago we saw these two in a heated rivalry about the SES Group now look at them. They have lost their mojo. Also I want to say thank you WWE For proving to us all that the WWE has nothing left for Rey to do in his WWE career.

Backstage moment happens with Edge telling Christian his got his back. Could this be the restart of a wonderful friendship? The talent these two have I really hope this is a keep friends close and enemies closer sort of deal! I’d love these two to have a fued over a title. They would put on a amazing show!

Edge vs Drew Mclntyre. Wooo! How exciting that WWE wasted a match space on some plain match we saw about 2-3 weeks ago. Anyway, not totally a hard match to predict to be honest I found it pretty boring anyway as you know Edge would win with the Spear. How many times has that been done before?

Time for the Divas also known as my bathroom break. Laycool come out with the win over the team of Kelly Kelly and Rosa Mendes. Short match so I came down from the bathroom. Since I knew this would be boring, I took a magizine to the bathroom as well. Lucky guess. There was also a Diva promo at the end cut by Laycool with them talking about the match that John Morrison was stuck in hey! You guessed it. That 6 person toilet break match that WWE thinks is better than a Money in the Bank match?!?!

WOW! A match for the IC Title? I forgot WWE had this title with the way it's used. So a championship for Barrett? Hopefully this will help his push. This match wasn't bad but it didn't live up to what I thought it would be.

Boring backstage segement with Teddy and Del Rio. All I have to say about it.

Next up R-Truth vs. Jack Swagger. Jack won. No suprise there to be honest. WWE has 2 options for Truth. Push or fire. Which one. Bad match, quickly over.

Finally the good stuff. Edge/Del Rio/Brudus and Christian. Christian defeated Alberto and Edge defeated Brodus Clay on the outside in an unofficial match. Also, Edge went to attack Del Rio with a chair but would that get Edge banned from Mania? Edge didnt lay a finger on his WrestleMania 27 opponent Del Rio the chair did. But it wasn't from Edge, Christian took charge just like I knew he would have to.
