![]() By Graham "GSM" Matthews Paige def. Emma Any longtime viewer of NXT knows the vast amount of history these two have together as former friends, and if you didn't already know that, the commentators did a very nice job of filling you in. There was some silly business from the two early on, but when they put that aside, they had a very enjoyable matchup. They have great chemistry that it's near impossible for them to have a bad match. All they need is time. They weren't given as much time as I would've liked, but it was more time than they'd ever get on any of the main shows. This could be a memorable feud for the Divas division if the WWE would come to their senses and actually utilize Emma in the right way. Sin Cara def. Curtis Axel I guess if any two people have three matches (not necessarily in a row) on Superstars, then it's considered a feud. I almost forgot Cara and Axel faced off for two straight weeks not too long ago, so the notion that these two had a personal issue to settle felt strange. That said, they put together a very good match with a solid story. Axel was made out to look aggressive for once and despite giving Cara a brutal beating throughout, Cara still came out victorious. It's a simple story, but not one we normally see on this show, making the match that much better due to that. Overall Show
I've noted before that the quality of Superstars has picked up as of late (with the exception of last week) and this episode was more of the same. Paige vs. Emma was definitely worth going out your way to see and I'd even recommend sticking around for Axel vs. Cara as well. The Raw recaps, per usual, were throwaway, but the two featured matches were particularly strong this week. There will be no Superstars review next week due to being preempted by a "Best Matches of 2014" special.
