Adam Rose def. Heath Slater
This was the third time these two have clashed on Superstars in recent months and it wasn't any more interesting this time than it was the prior two times. The bit at ringside with the Rosebuds dressing Hornsoggle up in the Rose gear was comical, but the match itself was forgettable and more of the same from the two. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Slater the one who eliminated Cesaro from the Intercontinental Championship Battle Royal at Battleground? And now he's jobbing on Superstars? What gives?
Alberto Del Rio def. R-Truth
This was yet another rematch that I had zero interest in seeing again. Del Rio, while a very good worker, bores me to tears along with Truth. Who thought it would be a good idea to put them in the ring together? I was in the arena for when they first faced off and that match was terrible, so this was a slight improvement. Even still, it felt like a waste of time.
Last week's show was ten times better than this edition of Superstars. Superstars may never be as "must-see" as Raw or SmackDown, but it has its nights and last week was one of those nights. This week's edition was the exact opposite as it featured two rematches of matches no one initially cared about. Do yourself a favor by skipping this show and forgetting it ever happened.
