Paige def. Summer Rae
Paige and Summer have had several matches against each other as of late, so as well-wrestled as this bout was, it was no different than any of their past encounters. What this match did get me thinking about, however, was how both Paige and Summer will be better off after the Brand Split going into effect. Summer has always been underutilized, but Paige has fallen from grace over the past year or so. Being prominently on a brand where she won't be overshadowed as much will certainly do her wonders.
Jack Swagger def. Viktor
At least during Viktor's recent string of matches with Zack Ryder I was entertained by Ryder's offense. Swagger is arguably the better wrestler, but similar to Viktor, he bores me to tears because he looks like he's going through the motions. The match was fine for what it was albeit ultimately forgettable. Konnor could not return any sooner from suspension for Viktor's sake.
The only reason I'd suggest checking out this episode would be to relive the John Cena and AJ Styles segment from Monday's Raw in its entirety. Otherwise, this was a pretty mediocre edition of Superstars. Swagger vs. Viktor was a waste, and while Paige vs. Summer was slightly more entertaining, it was more of the same from the women without direction.
