The Miz def. Zack Ryder
For whatever reason, I've always enjoyed the chemistry these two have had in the ring together. They've seldom faced each over the years, but whenever they go one-on-one, they produce an entertaining match and their latest encounter was no exception. It baffled me that Miz was left off Raw one week removed from his upset win over Dolph Ziggler, especially considering there have been rumors of him getting a renewed for push going into WrestleMania. On a side note, Ryder is looking sharp with his new beard, and if you weren't jealous of him before, just keep in mind that he's dating Emma in real life!
The Usos def. The Ascension
This was a weird week for The Usos. First, they wrestled in the SmackDown main event against The Wyatt Family for no apparent season with no sign of The Dudley Boyz. Then, they went up against The Ascension on this show with, again, no sign from the nine-time WWE Tag Team Champions. I realize it's Superstars, but it would have been nice if they sat in on commentary at the very least. They got as good of a match as they could out of The Ascension, meaning it was relatively solid on the whole.
As noted, I love whenever Miz and Ryder face off in singles competition, so I was partial to their match on this show. Even still, it was very well-wrestled and a pleasant treat, so you might like it along with the tag team match. The Usos vs. The Ascension is a bout that has yet to be done to death (give it time), so it capped off what was a rather fun edition of Superstars for this week.
