By Carson Koschik Wade Barrett (c) vs. The Miz Odds: The Miz has a 1-2 chance of winning his second Intercontinental Championship, while Wade Barrett has a 1-7 chance of retaining his gold. Want: We're in a period of time where the title isn't needed to boost a Superstar's credibility, but a Superstar is needed to boost the title's credibility. The Miz winning wouldn't do the championship any favours while a high profile defence from Barrett would do wonders for the once prestigious title. Also, the Miz (as much of a fan of his that I am) isn't clicking as a face at all. Prediction: WWE really wants the Miz to be a top face. So much so that they had Ric Flair give him the Figure-Four to use as a finisher. So it's pretty obvious that the Miz is going to win the IC title via submission. Tons of Funk & The Funkadactyls vs. Team Rhodes Scholars & The Bella Twins Odds: Tons of Funk and the Funkadactyls have a 1-2 chance of picking up a victory, while Team Rhodes Scholars (who are two future World Champions) and the Bella Twins (two former Divas Champions) have an abysmal 1-12 chance of winning. Want: There is nothing that Tons of Funk does better than the Rhodes Scholars. They are a comedy act, while the Rhodes Scholars are arguably two future world champions. So, the fact that Tons of Funk are likely winning is pretty upsetting. Hopefully that doesn't happen and Team Rhodes Scholars (with the Bellas) get a WrestleMania win. Prediction: This is a throwaway match, meaning that the faces will win. It might end up being a meaningless win for Tons of Funk, but it will be a devestating blow to momentum for the Rhodes Scholars. Chris Jericho vs. Fandango Odds: The veteran Chris Jericho has a 1-2 chance of a 'Mania win, while newcomer Fandango has a pretty good 1-3 chance of winning his first WrestleMania match. Want: Chris Jericho is by far my favorite wrestler of all time. He is amazing on the mic, amazing in the ring, and is just an awesome performer. But Jericho is in the twilight of his career, and he has put behind his days of championship gold and PPV main events for the noble act of putting over younger talent, which is exactly what a veteran wrestler should do. Jericho is already a star, and he has the chance to make a new one out of Fandango at 'Mania. Fandango should win. Prediction: As I said before, Jericho is in the WWE to put over talent. Expect Fandango to win in his first ever match (under this gimmick). Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar Odds: The King of Kings Triple H has a 1-2 chance of continuing his legendary career, while Brock Lesnar has an equal 1-2 chance of forcing the Game into retirement. Want: Triple H, you traded your ponytail for an office job. That pretty much says that you should be retiring from in-ring competition. Brock Lesnar should win this one to keep looking strong. Prediction: Triple H is the COO of the company, and he's already lost to Lesnar. Expect the Game to pick up a win over the Man-Beast an continue his current part-time career. Ryback vs. Mark Henry Odds: Mark Henry has a 1-2 chance of winning, while Ryback has 1-3 chance of Shell Shocking Henry for the win. Want: I love Henry, but his career is coming to an end. It wouldn't make any sense for him to defeat the newcomer Ryback at 'Mania. Ryback should win. Prediction: Ryback was the biggest babyface last summer, even eclipsing John Cena in crowd reaction. Hell, some people even thought that he was going to beat then champion CM Punk to win the WWE Championship. Well, to put it kindly, Ryback's momentum has gone down since that summer. WAY down. He is currently winless at Pay-Per-Views since his WWE Championship match, and he has been kind of floating around for a while doing nothing. WWE is going to try to recapture his popularity by having him pick up a huge win over Henry at 'Mania. Hopefully he can actually pick him up for his finish. Big Show, Randy Orton, & Sheamus vs. The Shield Odds: Big Show, Randy Orton, & Sheamus have a 1-2 chance of beating the young faction, while the Shield have a surprisingly low win chance of 1-11. Want: Sheamus is boring, Orton is boring, and Big Show is boring. The Shield are exciting and full of promise. So what exactly will we gain from the faces winning? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. So the best possible thing that could happen would be for the Shield to continue their momentum by beating Team WWE, only after Randy Orto finally turns heel and RKO's a member of his team. Prediction: Shield wins, Orton turns heel. The Undertaker vs. CM Punk Odds: The Undertaker has a 1-2 chance of going 21-0, while CM Punk has a shockingly good 1-3 chance of being the 1. Want: There are a lot of honors in wrestling. Being WWE Champion, winning the Royal Rumble, being King of the Ring, and losing to the Undertaker at 'Mania. Never has there ever been an instance in wrestling history where losing to someone is a huge honor, except for the Undertaker. As good as CM Punk is, it wouldn't make any sense for him to beat the Streak. The honor of losing to a legend should be good enough. Prediction: No way in hell is CM Punk beating the Streak. Undertaker wins after match of the night. Team Hell No (c) vs. Big E Langston & Dolph Ziggler Odds: Team Hell No has a 1-2 chance of continuing their weird title reign, while Big E Langston & Dolph Ziggler have a 1-10 chance of winning tag team gold (bronze?) in their first match teaming with each-other. Want: There is no reason that Dolph Ziggler should be a tag team champion and not a world champion. Team Hell No should win after pinning Big E (not Ziggler). Prediction: Team Hell No is winning here. Not because they should continue as a team, or because Big E Langston and Ziggler are undeserving (even though they are undeserving), but because there are bigger and better things planned for Ziggler later on. Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Jack Swagger Odds: Jack Swagger has a 1-2 chance of making "Jack Swagger's America", while Alberto Del Rio has 1-3 chance of continuing his weird babyface championship run. Want: Here's the thing, Del Rio is awesome in the ring and has loads of charisma. But, that loads of charisma is really only present when he's a bad guy. I understand that he needed a change of character to revitalize his career, but I think a World Championship was a little overkill. So, I want it to end. But, Swagger has yet to be punished for his DUI and drug possession charges. So, what the hell do I want? Del Rio to lose the championship and for Swagger to finally get punished. Now, how the hell could that happen? Well... Prediction: Jack Swagger will win the World Heavyweight Championship, and will set two records after. Those records will be shortest World Championship reign in history and shortest World Championship match in history. Do you know why? Because Dolph Ziggler will finally cash-in his Money In The Bank briefcase. Del Rio loses the belt, Swagger gets punished by setting two embarrassing records, and Ziggler finally becomes World Heavyweight Champion. Win-win-win. The Rock (c) vs. John Cena Odds: John Cena has a 1-2 chance of winning his 24 millionth WWE Championship, while the Rock has a 1-4 chance of continuing his terrible part-time reign, Want: I know this is a repetitive thing to say, but Cena needs to turn heel. What better way to do it than at WrestleMania? Even though the Rock NEEDS to lose that belt (it's not a championship while it's on his waist), the need for a Cena character change is more important. So, the best situation would be for the Rock to once again beat Cena on the biggest stage of them all, and for Cena to snap and turn heel, pelting the Rock with chairs after the match. We can worry about Rock dropping the title to Cena at Extreme Rules after. Prediction: John Cena hasn't been WWE Champion since the middle of 2011. Sadly, that is considered a long time. John Cena will win the WWE Championship from the Rock on Sunday. Agree? Disagree? Tell me in the comments or on my Twitter @SmarkInProgress. WOI BARRUH!
