By Brandon E The main focus at the moment is WrestleMania and WrestleMania only. But, what about after WrestleMania? Last year was a very memorable Post-WrestleMania as Brock Lesnar returned and a big match was set-up between Lesnar and John Cena in a Extreme Rules match. From then on however, WWE seemed to fall downhill, hopefully history does not repeat itself this year and the momentum can be sustained from WrestleMania. Whilst a big of a return as Brock Lesnar likely won't happen this year, there still could be a big surprise the Raw after WrestleMania. For months there has been speculation amongst fans about several wrestlers perhaps returning in the near feature, I think it would be wise to expect at least one wrestler to return the day after WrestleMania whether this be face returning from injury such as Christian or a past wrestling face in MVP. It's become a sort of tradition for this to occur. Or at least something else surprising. Personally I'm not sure what that surprise will be, I'm just going to sit back and see what WWE has in store. However, I do believe I have a good idea about what might happen after WrestleMania. My predictions for WrestleMania from the matches so far would be: John Cena winning, Jack Swagger winning, Undertaker winning and if the match happens Triple H winning against Brock Lesnar and getting his revenge. Whilst these are not all my picks to win, I believe they are the most plausible. Firstly, John Cena winning is probably the most obvious. We recently found out that The Rock has agreed to work Post-WrestleMania dates including the pay-per-view Extreme Rules, this could mean that The Rock would ask for his rematch clause for Extreme Rules after WrestleMania. If this does in fact happen I would hope it would have some sort of stipulation attached to it, seeing another normal match between the two right after WretleMania would be the wrong move, a stipulation added would be wise to well and truly end their feud. The next main event match sees the reigning World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio take on the Elimination Chamber winner Jack Swagger. So far I believe that Jack Swagger will win this match. It has recently been rumored that there could be a match at Extreme Rules between Del Rio and Swagger in a Submission match. Whilst we're not sure if this will be for the title, it's likely to be. I could definitely see Swagger winning at WrestleMania and Del Rio asking for his rematch clause at Extreme Rules. The current Mr. Money in The Bank Dolph Ziggler was highly speculated to cash in at 'Mania but with this match rumored we could be seeing an Extreme Rules cash-in instead. Whilst this doesn't do good for Swagger who will lose the Championship after a short reign I think it's been long enough and Ziggler deserves it.
Ziggler cashing in at Extreme Rules would make sense as a Submission Match will take a lot of out of Swagger and Del Rio and whoever loses the match could have a post-match attack signalling a Ziggler cash in. However, I do not want this to happen. I still believe that Ziggler should cash in at WrestleMania, it's the Show of all Shows and cashing in there would garner him the most attention. Cashing in at Extreme Rules wouldn't be as big as a WrestleMania cash in. Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger could still have their Submission Match but it's more likely that the person Ziggler would cash in on would face Ziggler or both Swagger and Del Rio might. But, with the recent rumors it looks like Ziggler cashing in at WrestleMania is just becoming more and more unlikely. The next big match that was booked this past Monday on Raw is The Undertaker vs CM Punk. This is perhaps the biggest match on the card and the most likely show-stealer. These guys are tremendous workers and CM Punk is literally only just coming off the longest-reign of the past decade at 434 days as WWE Champion. Whilst some people believe this match has just come out of the blue, they couldn't be anymore wrong. CM Punk being the champion for over a year already warrants him a Match with Undertaker in my opinion, that is a very impressive reign that hasn't been done for the past-decade. Also, these guys are no strangers to each other. CM Punk had a feud with Undertaker over the World Heavyweight Championship in 2009. The Undertaker won the title from Punk at the 2009 Hell in a Cell event, it's only fair for Punk wanting to get his revenge after all these years. He's a completely changed man than what he was then and he's stronger and has got more accomplishments to his name, wanting to end the streak is only natural for Punk who wants to prove why he really is the 'Best in the World'. Whilst Punk winning is quite unlikely you can never be sure with the WWE. This could be a risk they may want to take in an attempt to make Punk an even bigger star than he currently is. However, I really don't see this happening but I do believe Punk will get very close to ending it and it will be a hard fought-battle. Post-WrestleMania Punk will likely move on, a smart move in my opinion would be him somehow inserting himself in the match with The Rock and John Cena. A triple threat was rumored for this year's WrestleMania but didn't come to fruition, why not do it at Extreme Rules? The last rumored match that is looking likely to be on the card is a SummerSlam rematch between Triple H and Brock Lesnar. This all started last year when Brock Lesnar "broke" Triple H's arm two times. Lesnar ended up going over in the match which is why HHH is looking likely to have his revenge at WrestleMania. While I don't agree with this decision, it's the most plausible. I also believe this will be the end of their feud. Post-WrestleMania I see Triple H and Lesnar going away for a while again and I do not see their feud continuing. If the SummerSlam rumor is anything to go by expect The Rock and Brock Lesnar to clash sometime near SummerSlam. However, I'm thinking that's just a fan's dream at the moment and I'd be surprised if WWE managed to set the feud up for SummerSlam. However, with Brock Lesnar singing on for more dates it's certainly possible. With the under card I can't really predict what will happen Post-WrestleMania until the matches are booked. But, I do hope that Antonio Cesaro keeps his United States Championship and I'd hope that Barrett finally get's some meaningful opponents! I also hope that the New Age Outlaws have a small-run with the Tag Titles I think it'd be a good way to switch from a big name to another big name when Team Hell No finally depart from each other. However, if recent rumors are anything to go by it doesn't look like Team Hell No are splitting up any-time soon so I expect the Tag Division will fine. Post-WrestleMania for the Diva's I'd hope that a new NXT Diva is brought up or AJ Lee finally has a run with the Diva's Championship. Overall, I feel Post-WrestleMania will be great this year and I'm looking forward to what WWE has in store.
