Brock Lesnar Is Vince McMahon's Answer and Desperation Prayer

When CM Punk made his AEW debut, it was made apparent Friday Night on Rampage, that WWE was going to have to answer with their own surprise and indeed answer with their own surprise, they did.

The Beast Incarnate's return to WWE Saturday night was nothing other than Vince McMahon's desperate plea to answer the competition, and if you think it was just a coincidence, you may think again. It's evident that Tony Khan genuinely cares about the fans and is invested in giving them the best wrestling product as a performing art, and not just from an entertainment perspective. Vince is content on just giving a theatre production and more than likely he only did what he had to in order to keep the weekend buzz about WWE and SummerSlam and not for the sake of wrestling in the ring as an art, or the fans.

​​As it turns out, though, we just happen to benefit from Vince's ego-driven, desperate pleas like this time, and sometimes I can't complain about that. On Saturday night, all of the WWE fans benefit because we benefit from a fresh and new look Brock Lesnar who appears to be Vince McMahon's top answer to AEW which brings new and interesting situation for the Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns (and Paul Heyman).

Complain if you must about the part timers' schedule, but maybe there is an advantage McMahon has in bringing the part-timer again. Since Lesnar has been off and away and that allows that excitement to return, at least for a while. But that only lasts a while. Part of the genius in AEW is that they seem to be willing to change the act when it gets stale, like Jericho for example who keeps reinventing himself. Hopefully WWE takes advantage of this new return by continuing to build on this momentum they have from Lesnar's presence. He is the answer. ​
